"be a voice, not an echo." self-expression is what makes you a part of the creation. the process of making this world a better place. you don't express for self but for others; called you and yourself.
my poem has 17 lines and 2 stanzas. it mainly forces on the darkness behind every mask, the imperfections behind every mask, things that make human. Just being yourself is being the real 'cause that's what the world needs. Just be yourself and let the world see the imperfect, flawed, weird, REAL, person that you are.
so, we'll talk about the first stanza. this part of the poem discusses more what's behind the mask.
I mentioned the negativity behind the mask. I used symbolism to give life to the poem. in this world, everyone is pretending, some fear being judged and others just wait for someone to understand them. i also mentioned 'my face has a thousand masks' this is the first time I say that and it feels so relaxing.
Let's now talk about the second stanza. it is about expressing yourself not for others but for yourself and yourself. you're unique in different ways finding the true you and expressing yourself is what makes you special and important.
only again burn down all your masks and "jusk be yourself cause that's what makes you your-true-self."
I have started to express my imperfections, don't waste time, better late than never. go ahead and show the world who you are.
